Becky Suss lives and works in Philadelphia. She has been an active member of SPACE 1026 for the past several years. She makes paintings and drawings of stacked structures and landscapes that explore feelings of comfort and home, as well as loneliness and things lost. The creation of these little worlds has been an obsession for as long as she can remember. Her work continues to change and develop, while consistently walking a fine line between populated and lonely, warm and stone cold. Her work has been shown in and around Philadelphia, New York, Vancouver, San Francisco, Portland, Cincinnati, Raleigh and Milan.
